“We are excited to share with you the new website of the Rethinking Research Collaborative (https://rethinkingresearchcollaborative.com) and the outputs from the programme of strategic research and capacity strengthening that have been implementing for UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
The project generated new data and practical tools informed by the perspectives of three groups of ‘research partner’: academics and civil society practitioners based in the global South and UK-based international brokers and NGOs. A research report presents findings from the project, and identifies eight principles for different stakeholder groups to apply to engage with the politics of partnership. These principles form the basis of a series of targeted learning resources which can be accessed here: https://www.christianaid.org.uk/about-us/programme-policy-practice/resources-fair-and-equitable-development-research-partnerships
In the spirit of the principles, these resources have been launched as the start of a conversation, which we hope you will critically engage in. We intend to continue to revise and improve these resources so please do send us your thoughts and help us to keep the conversation going.”
