Following the first session of the Workshop held in January 2019, Dr. Rajesh Tandon, Founder-President of PRIA and Co-Chair, UNESCO Chair in Community Based Research and Social Responsibility in Higher Education, facilitated the second phase of the training from 22nd -25th April,2019 in Hyderabad.
Prior to the Face to Face Workshop on “Community-University Engagement Facilitation”, the participants were introduced to the modules on “Understanding Rural Institutions” and “An Overview of Rural Development Programmes”. During the workshop itself, the participants reviewed the tasks from January, discussed the strategies of Community-University Engagement; discussing what works as well as the challenges present.
