The UNESCO Chair in CBR will be flagging off its next initiative, Knowledge for Change (K4C) from January’ 2018. K4C is an International partnered training consortium, built on partnerships between HEIs & CSOs for co-creation of knowledge. It aims to build research capacity to address local challenges, in line with UN SDGs. K4C is structured on a 21-week Mentor Training Program (MTP), designed and delivered by the UNESCO Chair. A total of six countries will be participating in the MTP beginning from mid-January’ 2018, namely, Canada, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Italy & South Africa.
As part of the pre-preparation of K4C, the Indian leg of the UNESCO Chair will be hosting a planning meeting of all the hub coordinators from the five countries from November 11- 13, 2017 at PRIA, New Delhi. The meeting will finalize all details of MTP, including mentors, field supervisors, learning materials & in-country follow up courses for delivery of community-based participatory research after MTP.
Please find below the detailed program design for the meetings.
